HomeMy Public PortalAbout05-06-1929 266 Office of Board of Public Works City of Richmond, Indiana, Monday May 6th, 1929. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday May 6th, 1929, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit : A petition for improvement of the alley between North 15th & 16th I/ Streets, by cement roadway from North"D"to"E"Street, was received and referred to engineer for investigation and report. The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons interested or whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution No. 232-1929, for opening a 20 ' alley between South 12th & 13th Sts. from South terminal of present alley to South "I" Street. No one remonstrating, the Board confirm all former action taken on said resolution, and now order a list or roll prepared of all holders of property beneficially affected, which list or roll shall also describe-the property damaged by said opening. The Board sellto E.M.Sheffer the old house on west side of South 5th Street at South "G" Street, for the sum of $75.00, the same to be removed from present location by purchaser. The Board approved the contract & bond of W.L.Magaw, contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 891-1929. The Clerk was directed to notify the owners of property at 710- 711-718-721 & 725 West Main Street to repair the curb in front of thim properties at above locations.
