City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday Apr-il 29th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 2-9th,
1929, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members- of said Board,Messrs,Reid,
McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit : -
A petition for construction of cement curb & gutter on both sides
of Northwest 3rd Street, from Randolph to Lincoln Street, was re-
ceived, Clerk directed to mail the same to Councilman F.Benn, in I/
an effort to construct c.& g. from Randolph to Kinsey Street.
The Board directed the Richmond Water Works.- Corp. , to extend the 6"
water main. in New Paris- Pike, -from North 12th Street east 700
more oz less and install -fire hydrant to be located by Fire Chief.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement _Resolution No. 896-1929
for the improvement of both sides of Sheridan Street, by construct-
. ing driveway curbs, extending from outside edge of present side-
walk to present gutter line, from north side pf- Railroad Bridge
to State Street. - - -
The Clerk was instructed to notify Andrew Walker, that in matter
of side ditches in ParryStreet, -if property owners desire to
cross the same for. driveways, -they should place tile in trenches
at their own expense before filling the same. -
In matter of bid received from Garfield Dixon, the clerk was in-
structed to notify Mr. Dixon, the mail said bid to the property
owner Wm. Curtis, Fort Woith, Tex. ,
Claims in amount of $8,072.07 were allowed. -
The Board then adjourned,
