Monday April 22nd, l9 9.
The Board of Puolic Works of the City of Ricb_aond, Indiana, met in
• regular session at the office of said Board -Monday, April 22nd, 1929,
at 9 o tolock A.m. Messrs, Hanley and McFall being present . Mr. xeid
absent . Two members of said Board being present . The following pro-
ceedings were had, to-wit :
Permission -was granted John Noe ten, to cut the curb at 435 South 5th
Street.
Permission was granted Mrs. J .EI.Phenis, to take up portion of side-
walk a: replace the same to repair drain at 457 Randolph Street .
The Richmond WatervWorks Corp . , were directed to extend the water
taps to within 6" of present street line in Ft-Wayne Ave. between
1st alley north of iiain to North " C" Street, cost o be placed on
assessment roll to be paid by .the_uity or property owner to be de-
cided later. •
The Board aporovea , specifications for cane - 2 to 2z ton truck com-
plete with line body, winch and pole setting derrick, bidder-to
specify allowance for 5 year old i'odge Truck; 'also, piping & fittings
for spray e:;ui p.:lent, of or b11 l t . i of Plant to advertise for olds
on sa.zle to cc received .iiay '9th, 1929. .

The Board directed the Finance Depart.t',ent to pay to John F.Hipskind
contractor, 42449 .44 of the 5% retained on Clear Creek Outfall and
Lateral Serer system,- leaving SY6,000.00- balance retained.
Claims in amount of .; 92 -3 .11 were allowed.
