City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday April 8th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 8th,
1929, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said- Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to—wit :
A petition for the improvement of the- alley between South 5th &
6th Street, by constructing cement roadway the full width. thereof
• with the necessary sanitary sewer extension, from South "A" Street
to the 2nd alley south of Main Street, was received and referred.
to Engineering Lepartment for plans and resolution.
In matter of petition for constructi.cn , of ce_nent sidewalks on
both sides of South " I" Street, from South 8th to 9th Street on
suggestion of councilman Win. Schnieder, was rederred to engineering
department for plans, resolution etc. ,
The Clerk was directed, to request The Andrews Asphalt Paving Co. ,
to have their representative meet with them at their convenience .
iionday or Thursday preferred, to confer in :natter of paving on
Richmond Avenue.
The Clerk was directed to notify Levi C. Peacock, to meet with
them at their next Board meeting Thursday April 11, 1929, for
conference in matter of gravel taken from pit south of West Main
Street at Clear Creek.
Claims in a t1o'L.nt of 47991. 29 were allowed.
