The Board of Puolac Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday March 25th, 1929
at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board , Messrs, Reid,
McFall arid Henley bein- present . The follbwina: proceedi rxvs were had ,
to-wit :
The Board approved the contract & bond of Lee Ridgeway , contractor
for improvements under Improvement Resolution r' o . 881-1928 , also,
Improvement Resolution No. 885-1929 .
The Board accepted a dedication of a public alley runring east from
Vest 5th Street , to the alley running• south to Asylum .Ave.
The Board purchased from Chester C . Hudelson for the sum of $25.00
all of Lot i\lo. 1 , in Burgess Heirs , Addition to City .

Upon the payment of ;5100 .00 the receipt of which is acknowledged,
The Board of Public 1Torks, 7rant to the Trustee s of the Townsend
Branch of .the Social Service: Bureau of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
the right to purchase the property of said City located on North Sth
Street , and comnonly k nowrm as the Old Fire House , except the Bell &
=striker. Said ''icht and option Hein__: that said Townsend Branch sh'ai_l
pay to said City of Richmond , I fdiana , on or before the tut day of
April , 1929 , the sum of 84,850 .00
in cash, said City, ,-;ill convey the
said optionee said real estate by their deed, a rll will surrender to
said optionee full ard 'immediate -possession thereof . If however said
Optionee shall not pay to said City said sum on or before April 1st
.1929 , this option shall be _null & void, and said sum of 8100. 00 this
day paid to said city shall be kept by said City as consideration
for this option. If said Ootionee shall pay to said City said sum of
$fl-850.00 on or before the let day of April , 1929 , .said sum of 8100.0C
shall be considered as a part of the .purchase price for said, real
estate.

The Fire Chief E.E .Miller , reported that begin ci mr with April 1st,
1929 , James Hahn and John Brown, would be retired and Placed on the
. irema_n° s Pension roll . He also, reported Elmer Keller fireman
advanced to the Position of Lieutenant.
