The :Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday March 14th 1929, at 9 o l clock_ .. ;i. All the :uemoer s of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley, being present . The following 'oroceedin s were had,. to-wit : The Board met to hear remonstrance if any, of persons primarily assessed under Declaratory Resolution No. 229--29, "1 or the vacat- ion of that part of Center Street east of Northwest 2nd Street , No one remoras ratir!" the Board approved a final assessment roll of benefits heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forth- with transmitted to the Department of Finance. A petition for lire _hycc_rant at Brenner St . & Williamsburg Pike :�?s received and referred to Fire Chief, for report . The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No.b 9-1929 for the im"oroveme-!t of North IIHi' Street, by constructing 51 Cement sidewalks on both sides of North ' I Street , from 12th to 14tz St . The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 592-1929 fo=: the .improv'ement Of Northwest )th Street , by constructing ce- ment sidewalks, curb gutter on both sides of street, from Pearl Street to Peacock Road. The Board approved the contract & bond of Daniel G. Burk-hardt contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 584-1929 . The Board approved the contract & bond of d . 1i. Hipskind, contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 885-l929 . A claim of 6. TY) filed by S. .Ward for cinders hauled to alley for Henry Deuker, was ordered :_ailed to said H.
