Monday March 11 th, 1929 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday March 11th, . 1929,
at 9 o ' clock A. M. All the memoers of said Board, Messrs, Reid, Mc-
Fail and. Henley being present . The following proceedings were had,
to-wit ;

A petition for the improvement of the alley between South llth & 12th
I/
Street, by cement roadway from South 'IH" to " I" Street , was received
and referred to city engineer. for investigation and report .
Notice from Puollc Service Cod!_fission, that the hearing on the petit-
ion of reduction -of light rates by town of Willic`'msourg vs. Liberty
Light & Power Co. , will be held at Wil liamsour , Indiana, March 21st
1929, was received and ref erred to City Attorney.
The Board order 6". water main laid in Southwest l`-'t 2,t,-•`:".t, i_rorT IIBII
to "EII Street ; 6" main in Dodge Street, from Southwest lst- Street to
alley east, and from said alley to Whitewater Boulevard a 3" main
- to oe laid, with three fire hydrants to oe, located on said 6" aX±Xnn.±i
extension, also to set back the curb coxes on Ft-Wayne Ave . , acnouni,
of street widening from 1st alley north of lain to North " C" Street .
The Board approved the contract & bond of Lee. Ridgeway, contractor
under Improvement Resolution No. :B791928.
The Board approved the contract & bond of J .L. Teega.rden Co . , contract-
ors under Improvement Resolution No. 871-1928.
A co:mmunice.t .on was received from Black & Veatch, consulting engineer
on Clear Creek Out fall Sewer and disposal plant, stating the Pulps
of the Fairbanks Morse Co . , installed by the contractor, where not
according to specifications, stating it is urgent that this matter be
settled at once, and recommending the city give the contractor form-
al notice, that unless action is started within ten days to remedy
the trouble - that has develop ed-, that the city will proceed under his
bond to correct the situation, and that the expense incident thereto
will be charged to him. ( See report ) The Clerk was directed to send
notice prenared by the Board to John F. Hioskind, contractor for said
work at once, as above suggested. ' Tire above report was referred to
the City Attorney.
The Board then adjourned;
