The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board„ Thursday Thu_rsda.y March 7th, 1929, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected under Improvement Resolution No. 888-1929, for the improvement of Hilda Street, by constructing 5 ' cement sidewalk cement curb & gutter, standard width, on both sides. of said street from Easthaven Avenue t0 the west terminal of Hilda Street . After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and no remonstrance having been filed against said improvement . The Board decide that the benefits to the property liable to .be assessed for said im- provements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the city civil engineer, and thereupon take final action on said resolu- tion, the same being confirmed without modification. The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 871-1928 for the improvement of National Road, by constructing 6 ' cement sidewalk on north side of street, from Charles Ave. to Easthaven Avenue, as follows to-wit : " J. L. Teega.rden & Co. , bid; Cement sidewalk 6 ' wide 41. 56 per linear ft . " John F. Hipsk:ind, bid; Cement sidewalk 6 ' wide y 1..80 per lin-foot " Pyle & Meredith, bid; Cement sidewalk 6 ' wide '----41.89 per lin-foot " Lee Ridgeway, bid; Cement sidewalk b ' wide----- -- $1.9 - per lin-foot " Daniel G. The bid of Lee Ridgeway, being the lowest & within the esti mate of city divil engineer, the contract was so awarded. The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 881-1928 for the improvement of South 22nd Street, by constructing 5 ' ce- ment sidewalks, curb & gutter standard width, center parkway in-. eluding curbs, grading & paving the roadway with one of the fol- lowing kinds of modern city pavements; Sheet Asphalt ; Rock Asphalt ; Reinforced Concrete or Bituminous Macadam; also, planting Of trees, from Reeveston Road to South " E" Street as =olloils, t0_erit : " Lee Ridgeway bid; Street complete Rock Asphalt or Reinforced concrete-n l9. 66 lin-ft . The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 885-1929 for Sanitary sewer in the territory, between Southwest 1st Street e and Whitewater Boulevard and between Southwest "D" & " E" Street as follows, to-wit : " John F4 Hipskind., bid; ' Sewer complete 4 3 .39 per linear foot �_� "' E.
