Monday February 25th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of. the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
• regular session atthe office of said Board Monday February 25th, 1929
at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McF i1
and Henley, being present . The following proceedings were had,viz
The Board accepted and signed, a bill of sale conveying to the City
of Richmond, Indiana, for their use for the sum of $1. 00 the receipt
of which is acknowledged, by the Indiana. Bell Telephone Company,
Five (5) 35ft . , one (1) 40fc . and one (1) 1-5ft . poles 3_ocated along
the east side of the alley east of South 6th Street , extending from
Sout'L? "B" - to the south side of South"0" Street .
The Board approved a primary assessment roll • of benefits and damages
in matter of vacating Center Street, from Northwest 2nd Street east
as provided for under Declaratory Resolution No. 229-1929, end fix
Thursday, March li th, 1929, 9 o ' clock A.M. as the time for hearing
of remonstrances against said assessment of benefits & damages .
- The Board authorize E, E.Miller Fire Chief, to attend the convention
oi_ Water. Works Companies to be held at Indianapolis, Indiana, Thurs-
day February 28th, 1929.
Claims in amount of 41043 . 73 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
