HomeMy Public PortalAbout02-18-1929 Office of Boar_,- of Public Works ��� City of Richmond, Indiana, Monday February loth, 1929: The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday February loth, 1929, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, :McFall and Henley being present . The followingproceedings were had, to-wit : • I/ The Board met to hear remonstrances, . if any of persons whose propertij is primarily assessed for the ilprovement of South " L" Street, by constructing on to foot cement roadway thru the center of said street paving the balance of roadway from cement to new gutter witi sur- face treated macadam, and constructing cement curb & gutter on both sides thereof, from South 5th to 9th Street , under Improvement Reso- lution No. 864-1920. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board ap- proved a final assessment roll, confirming the primary assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance. The Board on motion reject all bids received, for the gathering of city trash, rubbish and ashes . The Clerk was directed to notify J .F.Hipskind contractor, for the • construction of Clear Creek Sewer, to place the first alley east of East Haven Avenue at Hildale Street in a safe and passable con- dition. The Board approved the various city payrolls to February 16, 1929. - Claims in -amount of $6332. 1 6 were allowed. M . D. C.
