Monday February 4th, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday February
4th, 1929,- at 9 o r clock A. M. Messrs, McFall and Henley present .
Mr. Reid, absent ; Two members of said Board being present .. The
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
A petition for the opening and widening of Southwest " C" Street
from Southwest 3rd Street west to the let alley east of South-
west --th Street, was received and placed on file .
The Board continued hearing on improvement of West Avenue, under
• Improvement Resolution No. 883-1929, to Monday February llth, 1929.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of improvement
under Improvement Resolution No . 078-192 , for grading the north
one-half of South " L" . Street, from South 9th to 12th Street,.
the Board accepted same and order assessment roll prepared; City
to retain $427. 51, until work is completed. •
The Clerk was directed to notify, E. A. Mariani Co. , to place
the alley between Ridge & Ratliff Street, in a safe and useable •
condition from Stevens to :Teener Street.
The Street . Commissioner was directed to place cinders on the
approaches to the South 9th Street bridge before February 22nd
1':329, the date set for opening of said bridge.
Payrolls to February 1st, 1929, were approved.
The Board approved the annual report of N. E.L.& P .P . submitted
by D. C . Hess, Supt . , of plant , and order that he have same
printed.
The Board then adjourned,
