Thursday January 3rd, 1929.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday January 3rd,
• 1929 at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of 'said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had
to-wit :
On motion the minutes of the preceeding meetings *ere approved as read
The Board .unanimously, adopted Improvement Resolution No, 883-1929,
for the improves- ent of West Avenue, by constructing cement sidewalks
curb & gutters on both sides and paving the roadway with one of the
following kinds of modern city pavements, to-wit : Sheet Asphalt, Rock-
Asphalt, Reinforced Concrete or Bituminous Macadam, also planting of
trees, from National Road to the south line of City School property.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 884-1929,
providing for the improvement of Ft. Wayne Avenue, by widening the
roadway, •by reconstructing the cement curbs on both sides thereof,
and paving the roadway between the present roadway and the new curbs
with one of the following kinds of modern city pavements, to-wit :
Reinforced Concrete, Sheet Asphalt,. Rock Asphalt or Bituminous Macad-
am; from the first alley north of Main Street to North "C" Street .
The approved the plat of Richmond Gravel Co. , to be known as Peacock
Terrace 2nd Addition, lots number from 133 to 183 both inclusive,
lying between Northwest 10th Street and west line of Sec. 31, twp . 14
Rnge. 1, west, and between the Peacock Road and West Main Street,
Streets and alleys dedicated to the public use.
