That Section 9-1-15 is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: Restrictions for Munici al Parkin Lot Located on Illinois Street: No person shall park a vehicle for longer than a two-hour period between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except on Sundays and Holidays on one-half (1/x) of the parking spaces available at the Illinois Street Parking Lot. 9-1-15(A): Permit Parking: That on the remaining one--half (1/2) of the available spaces at said Illinois Street Parking Lot, parking shall only be permitted for those vehicles displaying a valid permit issued by the Village of Plainfield upon such terms and conditions as the President and Board of Trustees deem proper. II. That Section 9-1-16 is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: Restrictions for Municipal P'ark'ing Lot" located on DesP "aYnes Street: No person shall park a vehicle for longer than a two-hour period during any twenty-four (24) hour period, except on Sundays and Holidays on one- half (1/2) of the designated parking spaces at said DesPlaines Street Parking Lot 9-1-16(A): Permit Parking NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE.PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TAE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, THAT THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 9, ARTICLE 9 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD ARE HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: That the remaining vne-half (1/2) available parking spaces shall be used by only those persons displaying a valid permit issued by the Village of Plainfield upon such terms ,and conditions as the President and Board of Trustees deem proper to merchant's employees. IIZ. That Section 9-1-14a shall be amended to read as follows: Section 9-1-14: Two Hour Parking Limitation No person shall park a vehicle-for longer than a two-hour period between the hours :of 9:00 ABM. and. 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays and Holidays ®n the following streets of the Village. Section 9-1-14a: Lockport Street between Division and Fox River, except for that portion of Lockport Street from D®sPlaines Street to Fox River Street that will only permit parking for a thirty minute time period. IV. That Section 9-1-14f is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 9--1-14f West side of DesPlaines Street from the alley north.. of Lockport Street to Oak Street except for that portion of DesPlaines Street North of the alley which is posted ten-minute parking. Furthermore, that a loading zone as designated and described in Section 9-8 of the Code of Ordinances shall be designated for that area between Lockport Street and the alley to the north. Furthermore, no parking shall be permitted for the area north of the alley in front of the present Post Office and ten-minute parking shall be ,permitted for the area desis~nated for the.five stalls to the north as is presently in place. V. That Section 9-1-14 is further amended as follows as to the present two-hour parking limitation: Section 9-1-14b DesPlaines between Chicago and the alley north of Lockport, on the east side immediately north of Lockport Street, the first two stalls should be designated for parking no longer than a one-hour period between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6;00 P.M., except on Sundays and Holidays and for the designated two stalls north of those just described shall be designated as loading zones as described in Section 9w8. VI. That Section 9-1-14b is further amended as follows: -2- 9-1-19b Des Plaines between Chico o and the a11e north of Lock ort Street. Except or at portion o DesP1a nes Street eginn ng at Chicago Street and ending at the alley immediately to the north, both the east and west side of said DesPlaines Street shall permit no Berson to park a vehicle for longer than a four-hour period between the--. hours of 9;00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. except on Sundays and Holidays. VII. That Section 9-1-14c which establishes a two-hour parking limit for Illinois Street between Chicago and the alley. north of Lockport Street is hereby amended as follows: Section 9-1-19c Illinois Street between Chicago and the alley north of Lockport Street, except for the west side of Illinois Street from Chicago Street north to the alley to the immediate north which shall prohibit parking of any vehicle for longer than a four-hour period between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays and Holidays. That this Section is further amended to designate that portion of the east side of Illinois Street north of Lockport Street to be designated as a handicapped only parking area for the stall immediately north of Lockport Street and the remaining stalls north to the alley be designated as permitting parking for a period no longer than one-hour between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., except on Sundays and Holidays.
