The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday December 10th, 1928
Tit 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFail and Henley being present .' The following proceedings were
had, to-wit :
The Board approved the bond of "George Kircher contractor, for re-
moving the garbage from the Crematory for the year ending December
1st, 1929.
Pursuant to continuance, the Board met to hear remonstrances if any
of persons whose property is primarily assessed under Improvement
• Resolution No. 856-1928, for the improvement of School Street, by
grading, and constructing cement sidewalks, curb & gutters and plant-
ing trees on both sides thereof, from Sheridan to West 5th Street.
No one remonstrating the Board approved a final assessment roll con-
firming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now
order the same transmitted to the Department of Finance.
Pursuant to continuance, the Board met to hear remonstrances if any,
of persons whose property issprimarily assessed under Improvement
Resolution No. 860-1928, for the improvement of the territory between
School Street and North corporate limits and Harris Street and the
G. R. & I. Railroad, by construction of sewer in said territory.
No one remonstrating the Board approved a final assessment roll con-
firming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now
'order the same forthwith transmitted. to the Department of Finance.
The Board aware contract to "W.E.i4cWhinney Co. , " for Automobile for
use of Building Inspector, Street Commissioner and City Engineer as
follows,' viz:
Two trucks complete with Anthony dump, bodies "Fora" @ 902.50 each;
One Roadster for Street Commissioner 6565.00 net;
One Touring car Engineer, @ ,; 565.00 net; Building Inspector 04b5.00
net, same to be paid out of appropriations made therefore available
after January 1st, 1929.
