Thursday November 8th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday November
8th, 1928, at 9 o ' clock A. .. All the members of said Board,
Messrs, Reid, McFeil and Henley being present . The following pro-
ceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily as-
sessed under Improvement Resolution No. 8G3-l928, for the improve-
ment of Ridge Street, by constructing cementsidewalks,t 'lzCtlil�; Slue �.a "S, curb, Qut-
ters, planting trees and reinforced concrete roadway, from Stevens

Board approved a final assessment roll, confirming 'the original
assessment roll as heretofore approved and non direct the same be
forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board approved a. primary assessment roll under Improvement
Resolution No. 85G-l92 , for the improvement of School Street , by
grading, & Constructing cement sidewalks, curb, gutters and plant- -
in; trees, on both sides from Sheridan to West 5th Street .
The Board approved a primary assessment rol Improvement
Resolution No. 860-1928, for sewer in territory: north of School
Street to corporation line and between west side of Harris Street
and the G._R. & I . Railroad.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 8S2-1928
for improvement of South 1Hl Street, by constructing cement Slde-
walks, curb, g t t e rs,pla d i n_-" trees andoavin with a bituminous
mixed surface treated macadam roadway, together with. necessary
drainage structures, from South 5th to 8th Street .
The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. .575-l92
to improve South 14th Street, by construction oI cement curb & :gut-
ter, repair sidewalks where necessery,pla_'nting trees and pc_'•-in
roadway with Bituminous treated macadam surface on a gravel-cinder
foundation,

The Board approved contract with i;h General Electric Co ina y for
meters Ior Light Plant for year ending December 1st, 1929 .
The Board accept and aprrove a right-of-way fo2 constructing and
maintaining a .24 inch drain tile over and across Lots No. 58 1-
'=jo2-585- „I; & 58.5 Beallviev. Addition, signed by Clem Pb 1ps, Hazel
Karlson, lby Gath Freeman, Wm. M. Haber , T or e z -�

The Board direct. the Finance Lepa.rtm-ent to pay to rJ . .N Hinsk_ind con-
tractor for Clear Creek Out-fall sewer and dis'oosal plant , the sum
of 2,339 • _ , accordingto estimate of Engineers .
The Board issue .Contractors certificates No . 9-7C-71 a_ 72 in amount
$13, 1O7. 9 as -per estimate -of engineers , to J . " a contractor

The Board cancel the order for water :!ruin in South 22nd_ Street, -From
. Reeveston Road to South "Bi1 Street, and direct the Water 'forks Corn . ,
to o lay 12" water main in center of said street between the points
named under the pavement only, -' el contemplated _8Z l _` of said
street is awarded.
The Board directed the Clerk to =eouest H. T. Pilgrim to meet with
