Monday November 5th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November 5th
1928, et 9 o eclook A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
. Mclail and Henley .being present . The "followin7 proceedings were
- had, to-wit :
The Board directed the Finance Department , to pay D . G. Burkhardt
contractors 115.B3 , the 5/° retained under Resolution No. 814- -1927.
The Board order Li E:sit Plant to install arc light et National Road
a Church Street ; also at South "J" & OtP Streets,
t1eeas, upon re^U 1` e_c -
ation of Mr. Hess, the petition for arc light at South 7th & "if,"
was refused on the assumption no light needed at this point .
Street Commissioner was directed to open drain on Gaar Road at the
railroad shops.
Water Works Corp. were directed to extend the 12" mein in South
22nd Street in Parkways, from Reeveston Road to South ii " %street
this "line to be temporary, until development demands further . .
service.
The Boar: order J . F. Hipskind contractor on Clear Creek Sewers to
fill up and take care of d_an`:erous holes in Charles Avenue, also
to place alleys and entrances thereto in proper shape so as to
• enable the residents to use the same .
The Board ratified, contract made with The Raymond City Coal Co. ,
by Sup 't . , Hess, for 10 J• car of coal for light plant at price of
0. 20./,• per ton f . o .b.mine .
• Claims in amount of 12, 150 . 90 were allowed.
