Thursday November 1st, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in revula_r session at the office of said Board, Thursday November
1st, 1928, at 9 O 'clock A. M. All the members of said Boe.rd,Messrs
Reid, McFall and Henley, being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
Petition for Electric Light at South 7th 8; "i'_" Streets; also, for
lie'ht at Church Street & National Road, were' received and referred
to Sup 't . , of Light Plant for investigation and report .
Permission was granted Richmond Oil Co . , to cut the curb at 910
South "E" Street . •

Permission was granted Thos . R. Kelley to cut curb on east side
N.W.7th Street between Pearl & West :main Streets.
The Board received bids under improvement Resolution No'.879-1928
for improvemment of the alley 1st north of National Road, by con-
crete roadway, from Southwest - th to 5th Street, as follows,viz :
" Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid;
Cement Roadway complete--Nc"0. 220 sr—ft . 6" sewer to 10 t-r2. 5v
The bid being above the estimate of the city civil engineer
the bid was rej ected, unless the contractor will take the award
at engineers estimate 255 per sq-foot
The Finance De-at . was instructed to pay J . L. Tee arden ;f219. 5o being
the %o retained under improvement Resolution No. 83 5-1927, for
improvement Of Peacock Road, from .NW. 8th to 9th Street .
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract under -
improvement Resolution No . 8 55-192 8, for improvement of School
Street, by7cement sidewalks, curb, gutters & planting
trees, -From
Sheridan to West 5th Street .
The City Civil E :^-i neer, reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 8 •C-192£ , for sewer in territory between
School Street & North corporation line and between Harris Street
and. the G. R. & I . Railroad. .
Claims in amount of :J.4, 72 . 16' were allowed ; and the Board ap-
proved the various oil-. payrolls to November lst, 1928.
