Monday October 29th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday October 29th,
1928, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit : .

The Board met to hear remonstrances, of persons whose property is
primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No . 550-1928, for
the improvement of South 9th Street, by setting back curbs to side-
walks and paving the roadway between the old paving and the new curb
from South "A" Street to . the 1st alley south of Main Street. No one
appearing or remonstrating, the Board approved -a final assessment
roll confirming the original assessment roll heretofore approved and
direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance
• Upon the petition of E. F. Iserman. The Board unanimously adopted
Improvement Resolution No. 881-1925, for the improvement of South
22nd Street, by constructing cement sidewalks, C.& G. Parkway thru
center with curb, grading & paving the roadway with one of the fol-
lowing kinds of modern city pavements, to=wit : Sheet -Asphalt, Rock-
Aspha.lt,. Reinforced Concrete or Bituminous Macadam; also planting of
trees, from Reeveston Road to South "E" Street ,
Richmond Water Works Corporation, were directed to move the fire
hydrant at Northwest corner of National Road & Easthaven Ave . , and
install same at location to be selected by Fire Chief, said removal
& installation to be paid for by property owner building gasoline
fillin_g .station at this point .
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for collection and dis-
posal of city garbage, bids to be received both for collection &
disposal, or removal from Crematory & disposal thereof/, only.
The Clerk was directed to advertise the sale at public auction of
the old engine house at corner of North 8th & "D" 'Streets .
The Board receive and accept , an agreement signed by Floyd Davis
Azalea Davis, Charles H. & Olga M. Posther, upon the payment by the
City to said Chas.H. & Olga Posther, releasing the City of Richmond
Indiana, from any further claims for damages to property, Moved by
the City .in widening South 9th Street at South "C-�" Street;
