1 78 City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday September 10th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday September
10th, 1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board
Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
Chas. Lyons, Street Commissioner was instructed to set back the
curb and repair pavement in South "A" Street, from South 6th
to 7th Street .
D . C. Hess, Sup 't of Light Plant was instructed to sell the
Hospital the necessary materials for installing Ornamental' Light
System.
J. H. Schell, was directed to repair the sidewalk in ' front of
his property #81 State Street,
Mr. Boyer, was directed to repaar the sidewalk in front of his
property at #85 Tate Street .
In matter of remonstrance filed against the improvement of Boyer
Street, from Stevens Street 'to Wiiliamsburgh Pike, underImp��ove-
ment Resolution No. 873-1928. The Engineer reported that there
is 6 resident property owners residing along the line of said
improvement, two of whom have signed the remonstrance-, The Board
thereupon overrules said remonstrance, and decide that the bene '
fits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvements
are equal to the cost of same as reported by the Engineer; and
thereupon confirm said resolution without modification.
The Finance Department was directed to pay the following reserves
to D. G. Burkhardt contractor under resolutions named, to-wit :
Resolution No. 832-1927, amount of reserve ' -
Resolution No. 839-1927, amount of reserve - 96.97.
The Boa.td ordered resolution prepared, for grading South "E",
Street the full width thereof, from South 16th Street east to
west line of Lot No. 52; "Reeveston Addition.
