City of Richmond, Indiana,
_ Monday August 27th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday August 27th
19 , at 9 o 'clock A. Psi. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit:
_ Permission was granted Thos. Hoey, - to cut the curb on east side of
South 20th Street, lot 171, Reeveston Add®
Permission was granted Elisha H. Scott, to cut the curb on east side
of South 21st Street, Tract-530-W.P . Official Map.
Permission was granted Benj . Vigran, to cut the curb on east side of
South 19th Street; 132-133, Reeveston Add. ,
In matter of petition for fire hydrant at North 17th & "G" Streets
Fire Chief reports no hydrant_ needed at this point.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 875-1928,
for the improvement of South 14th Street, by constructing cement
curb & gutter,planting trees, repairing sidewalks on both sides
where needed and grading & paving the roadway with bituminous treat-
ed macadam surface on a gravel-cinder foundation, from South "G" to
"H" Street.
The following amount of reserves under resolutions named where orders
paid as follows, to-wit :
Resolution NU. 826-1927, Stone Construction Co. , .Southwest 1st St.
Main to National Road, amount $178.49.
Resolution No. 827-1927, The Andrews Asphalt Paving Co. , National
Road from 1st to 5th Street, amount- $1132.97.
Resolution No. 834-1927, Daniel G. Burkhardt, alley between Hunt &
Ridge St. from Maple to alley north of Linden Avenue, amount-$53.20.
Claims in amount of $7870.2 - were allowed.
