Monday August 20th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
August 20th, 1928, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board ordered the 6" water main extended in South 15th Street
from South"G" -to "H" Street .

The Board issue an order, directing the Richmond WatervCorp. ,
to place the 6" main in South 20th Street, running from South
"A" Street to a point approximately 225 feet south, taken over
by the City as a part of the distribution system paid for by
the city.
Amos L. Wolfe, was granted permission to cut the curb on west
side of Northwest 7th Street at Lot 602, Official Map.
The Clerk was instructed to notify W.L.Magaw contractor, under
Improvement Resolution No 's . 853 & 855-1928 to proceed with - •
• the-work- and finish said improvements. •
The Board received bid of Arthur Thomas, in matter of material,
labor etc. , in making necessary repairs connected with the cut-
ting off of barn, finishing up' the veranda for Dr.Geo. Ferling
property at 10.1 South 6th btreet for the sum of $385.00, price
includes all lumber and carpenter work, all electrical work,
all sheet metal work, all painting & plumblig work, and brick- .
ang & cementing up the north wall of veranda, cement steps and
coping, also all roof work. Contractor having the right to use
all material that is sound and he is to furnish all new that
is required.
Claims in amount of S10, 153 . 62 were allowed.
The Board approved primary assessment roll of benefits and. rx.mx
damages under Declaratory Resolution No. 225-1928 to vacate al-
ley between C.& O.R.R.& Lots 94 to 102 Beallview dd. from South
"P" to South 8th Street.
The Board then adjourned,
