The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday Aug- ust 6th, 1928,' at 9 o 'clock A.M. 'All the members of said Board Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :- A petition for improvement of Boyer Street, from Stevens St. to Williamsburgh Pike was received, and referred to Engineer for investigation. Richmond Water Works Corporation, were instructed to extend 611 - water Main in West Main Street, from C' les to Gilbert Avenue, also, to install fire hydrant at South 7th & "L"'" Street. The Board approved a primary assessment roll, for sanitary sewer in the alley between Boyer & Ridge Street from Stevens Street to Williansburgh Pike, under Improvement Resolution No.859-1928. The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No.867-1928, for improvement of the alley let south of Main Street, by con- structing cement roadway from Southwest nth to 5th Street as "follows, to-wit : 1' Pyle & Ridgeway, bid; Cement roadway complete-0212 sq-ft. sewer con. S1. 50 lin-ft. " Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid; - Cement roadway complete-.222 .sq-ft. sewer " $1.25 lin-ft. The bid of Pyle & Ridgeway being the lowest and within the estimate, the contract was so awarded. - The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No.868-1928. for improvement of alley between Southwest 4-I-th & 5th ' St. by con- structing cement roadway, from 1st alley south. of West Main St. • to 1st alley north of National Road as follows, to-wit : -" Pyle & Ridgeway, bid; - - Cement roadway complete, .21i sq-ft. Sewer connections 32. 50 lin-ft. Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid; • Cement roadway complete, .222 sq-ft. sewer connections, $1.25 lin-ft. The bid of Pyle & Ridgeway being the lowest and within the estimate of engineer, contract was so awarded. The Board received bids under Improvement Resoluti-on No. 870-1928, for improvement of Northwest 3rd Street, by constructing cement " curb & gutter on both sides of street, from Richmond Avenue to Randolph Street, as follows to-wit : " J. L. Teegarden Co. , bid; Straight C. & G. $1.05 lin-ft. "Circle C. & G. $1. 20 lin-ft . Pyle & Ridgeway, bid; Straignt C.& G. $1.10 lin-ft. Circle C.& G. n1.25 linear foot " Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid; Straight •C.& G. $1.15 lin-ft. Circle C.& G. $1.20 linear foot The bid of J.L.Teegarden Co. , being the lowest and within the estimate, contract was so awarded, Claims in amount of $20,323.48 were allowed.
