Monday July 30th, 1920.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
. in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday July 30th
- 1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members 'of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFail and Henley -being present . The following proceed-
ings were had, to-wit :
The Board approved the contract & Dond• of Pyle & Rid ewa.y, con-
tractors under Improvement Resolution No. 863-1928, for the im-
provement of Ridge Street, from Stevens Street to north corporate 1/ .
limits of city.
Upon recommendation of J.M.Walterma.nn councilman from 1st Ward
and petition heretofore received the Board ordered the Engineer
to prepare resolution for the improvement of South 5th Street
from South "H" to "N" Street .

A petition was received from Alice S. Lamberson, requesting that
the Board order contractor to extend house connections to her
unplatted property on the east side of Charles Avenue, north of
West Main Street in same manner as is required to the platted
property on .west side of said street ; also, I wish to request
that an extension of the sewer be made along Williams Street ex-
tended through my property. If same could be done later in the
summer, after the corn is cut on the land, it would be more con-
venient to me. The Board order Engineer to have the contractor
on west side sewer to have connections made to said unplatted.

by said Alice Lamberson.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 872-192S
to improve South 5th Street, by constructing 5 ' cement sidewalks
curb & gutters on both sides of street, grading roadway where
necessary; and providing drainage necessary; also a cinder-gravel
roadway 18 ' in width the full length thereof, from South "H" to
"N" Street .
