Thursday July 26th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday July 26th,
1928, at 9' o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFail and Henley being present:. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The ten day period, for petitioning for materials for the improve-
ment of Ridge Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 863-1928,
having elapsed, and no petition having been presented to the Board,
the Board on motion award the contract for the improvement of said
Ridge Street from Stevens Street to North corporate limits, to
• Pyle & Ridgeway at price of { l--. 91 per linear foot, as per bid re-
ceived on July 12th, 1928, spcifyirg 'that said roadway be paved
with re-inforced concrete, as heretofore designated by the Board.
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily assess-
ed under Improvement Resolution No. 58-1928, for improvement of
the alley between North 3rd & -i-th Street, from North"C" Street north
to 1st alley south of North"D" Street, thence east to North 4th Strec
No one remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll
confirming in all things the primary assessment roll as heretofore
approved.,- and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the
Department of Finance.
The Board order the Clerk to file a claim of 4 ]iLOO in favor of
Sol Saffer, for moving shed etc.. , from alley as heretofore agreed
• upon, in payment for ground dedicated to alley.
' The Clerk was directed to notify Geore Kircher, to cover his truck
when hauling garbage from Crematory through the City.
City Attorney filed Appellee 's Brief, in cause of Edward J . 'Weidner
vs. City of Richmond, appeal from Henry Circuit Court, Henry County,
Indiana, to the Appellate ;Court of Indiana..
The Board then adjourned,
