The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday July 12th, 1928, at 9 ' o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to--wit Pursuant to continuance to this date, The Board met to hear all per- sons interested or whose property is affected under Declaratory H650- lu:ion No. 224-1920, providing for the widening of South 11A" Street, 10 feet on the north side thereof, from South 9th Street , to alley east . No one remonstrating, the Board confirm 'said resolution, and order that a list or roll of all owners or holders of property bene- ficially affected, which list Or roll shall also describe the proper- injuriously affected. And now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance. The Board.. order notice served on the Triangle Tire Shop, to .remove the air line, from Ft .W'ayne Ave, at their- place of business corner Ft-Wayi1e Ave. , and North 5th Street . John F. Hipskind, contractor, was granted permission to cut pavement across West Main Street for laying, sewer pipe for Clear Creek Trunk LateralSewers. The Board order notice served on Mrs. Ella Wickett, to at once re- move the tree and stump in front of her property located at 806 North 12th Street, the same being, in the road of the new cement curb and gutter- now being constructed. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 8 1-1928, for improvement of National Road, by constr ctine; cement sidewalk 6 ft . wide on north side of street, from Charles Avenue to East Haven Avenue . The Clerk was directed to prepare and present to the Com-ion_ Council for action; an aporopriattion ordinance in sum of $4400.00, out of M: E. L.& P .P. Funds, for purchase of Air cooler, Steeani-±'log': Meter & material and labor necessary in installing the same on Number Turbine at said plant . • 1 60 Thursday July 12th, 1928. The Finance Department was directed to pay J .L.Teeg arden, con- tractor under Improvement Resolution No. 800-1926, for improve- ment of South ltit I Street , from South I E" to I a I Street, the 5/% reserve retained - 368.L-G, under said contract . The Board receive bids, under - Improvement Resolution No.6 -192U for the improvement of Ridge Street, by grading;, and construct- ing cement sidewalks 5 I wide, cement curb & "utter and planting trees on both sides of street, and paving the roadway with one of the following kinds of modern city ;pavements, to-wit : Rein- forced Concrete, Sheet Asphalt, Rock Asphalt or Bituminous Mac- adam, from Stevens Street to the North Corporation Limits, as follows, to-wit : " Pyle & Ridgeway, bid; • Street complete using 8" reinforced concrete---6'14. 91 lin-foot .
