Thursday July .5th, 1928. •
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday July 5th,
1928, at 9 o 'clock A. .N; All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid ,
McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had,
to-wit :

The Insurance Inspectors, thru Mr. Hess, reported that the stack at
the Green House in Glen Miller Park has a large crack on the east side
which should be repaired before frost . Mr. McFail was instructed to
have sable .repaired.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any pf-persons whose property
is primarily assessed under Improvement Rdsolution No.851-1925, foo
the improvement of alley between North loth & 19th Street , by, con-
- structing cement roadway from North " C" to "E" Street . No one remon-
strating the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the
primary assessment as heretofore approved and now direct the same
- be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose proper-
ty is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 854-1928,
for the improvement of the alley 1st north of East Main Street, by
. constructing cement roadway, from North 17th to loth Street. No one
remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll, confirm-
. ing the original assessment roll as heretofore approved. And now direp
the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
- The Board order resolution prepared and presented to Council request-
ing the Judge -of -Wayne Circuit Court, to appraise the number 1, derail-
' ton Corliss Engine, 450 H.P. 3 Phase, 60 cycle-2300 volts, with a
- view to selling the same.
In matter of request for arc light at Southwest 5th & "E" Street;
upon recommendation of -sir. Hess, the Board deem it unneccessary to
install a light at this point at this time.
The Board approved clam is in amount of $15,471.` 9 .
- The Board approved primary assessment roll of benefits and damages
under Declaratory Resolution No. 222-1928, for opening of-South 10fti
llth, 12th, 13 th Streets, to South Avenue, .and South"L" Street,
from South- 9th to 20th Street .
