The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday July 2nd
1928, - at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs
Reid, McFalland Henley being present . The following
proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The Board granted permission to P. C. C.& St .L. Ry. System OXXX
Officials and employees, to hold their annual picnic in Glen 1/ .
' Miller Park, Saturday July 21st, 1928.
Permission was granted Paul Conti, to cut the curb on north side •
of National Road at Lots 8 & 9, Earlham Heights, Addition.
Contractors certificate No. 53, in sum Of si?6424.35, was granted
John F. Hipskind contractor under Improvement Resolution No.
849-1928.
The Clerk was directed to notify the tenant Andrew Faucett, of
advance in rent to 25.00 per month beginning August 1st, 1928,
for rental of Starr Park house No. 618 North 10th Street .
The Clerk was directed to notify C.G.Mciiiahan, to remove the
air connection for inflating tires at 315 Northwest 5th Street .
The Street Co_missioner was directed to remove the horse drink-
ing fountain at North 10th & "G" Streets.
Latter 'in the day the Board signed cotract with Babcock &
Wilcox Company of New York for four 4) Superheaters complete
f. o .b.Richmond for sum of 6657.00.
The Board approved the various payrolls to July 1st, 1920.
