The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met. in regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday June 28th 1928, at 9 no 'clock A.M. All the members -of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons interested or whose property is affected under Improvement Resolution No. 866- 1928, for the improvement of Harris Street, complete street, from Maple to School Street. After hearing all persons who appeared, and 1 . considering a. remonstrance filed, signed by 6 of the 7 resident owners abutting said street, this beig a large majority against making said improvement, the Board on motion, rescind said resolu- tion and all -actions heretofore taken on same. • The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for the improvement of South " L" Street, from South 5th to 9th Street, as provided under Improvement Resolution No. 864-1928. The •Clerk notified the Board of copy of rulings of the Public Service Commission of Indiana, in matter of "Bus Transportation for City" . Also as to change of telephone rates applying to private branch exchange for Hotel service, which were placed on file. Qlaims in amount of 4 57, 070.77 were allowed. Nunc-pro-tune. The Board approved agreement as of date of June 25th 1928, by and between the City thru its Board of Public Works, and Floyd Davis & Azalea, Davis,his wife, *a.nd purchasers of property on Option Contract joining in said agreement, *Charles H. Fosth'er and Allga. Posther,dedicatin; to City certain portions of grounds owned by them abutting on west side of South 9th Street and north side of South "Q" Street for street purposes, the City agreeingto move the house and make certain repairs as specified in said agreement .
