Thursday -June 21st, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June 21st, 1928,
at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail,
and Henley -being present . The following proceedings -were had, to-wit:
The Clerk presented the various complaints to Board received at last
session of Council together with request for arc lights.

Permission was granted H. W. Bockhoff, to cut the curb at 610 Nation-
al Road, west.
The following petitions were received, to-wit :
Petition for cement roadway in first alley south of Main Street, from
. Southwest ';th to 5th Street;
Petition for cement roadway in 1st alley north of National Road, from
Southwest Z-th to 5th Street ; -
Petition for cement roadway in alley between Southwest 4th & 5th St.
from 1st alley south of West Main Street to 1st alley north of Nation-
el Road.
Petition for cement curb & gutter on both sides of Northwest 3rd St.
from Richmond Avenue to Randolph Street, petitions referred to City
Civil Engineer for plans, etc . , .
The Board authorized Mr. Reid, Prest . , to sign application for use
of water at old building owned -by the City #632 South 5th Street.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for coal for City Hall,
Hose houses and Detention Hospital.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for improvement of Ridge
Street, -under Improvement Resolution No. 063-1928.
Claims in amount of ';17, 132.32 were allowed.
