Monday June l8th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
. in regular session at the office of said Board Monday June loth,
1928, at 9 o ' clock A. I. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
Permission was granted Walter Da/bey, to cut the curb at 38 South
10th Street .
Permission was granted B.J .Logan, to tap curb in front of 104
South 21st Street, for laying drain.
The Clerk was directed to notify the School. Board to construct
a cement retaining wall in South "J" Street at the Hibbard School,
and also, in South "B" Street at Julia Test, School in order to
prevent the soil from washing onto the sidewalks .
In matter of remonstrance filed, against the improvement of Rich-
mond Avenue, from Sedgwick to Northwest 9th Street, under Improve-
ment Resolution No. 865-1928. The Engineering Department reported
that their are 8 owners of property residing along the line of
said improvement ; Six ( 6) of whom have signed the remonstrance.
This being a. majority of the resident owners, the Board now order •
that an ordinance be prepared and presented to council, with the
recommendation that the street be ordered improved, as provided
under Improvement Resolution No. 865-1928, heretofored confirmed
by said Board.

Claims in amount of $1983 .35 were allowed.
The Board approved various payrolls to June 16th, 1928.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contracts under
Improvement rtesoluti on No. 851-1928, for cement alley between North
l8th & 19th Street, from North "C" to "E" Street, Board accepted same
and approwed a primary assessment roll
The City Civ2,1 Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement -`esolution No. 854-1928, for cement roadway in 1st alley
north of Main, from North 17th to 18th Street, the Board accepted
same and approved primary assessment roll.
The Board then adjourned,
