The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,-met
- i-n regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June loth
1920, at 9 o °clock A.m. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had,- to-wit : - - -

The Board met to hear remonstrance, if any, of persons interest-
ed or whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution
No. 222-1928, for the opening of South -10th Street, from South
"L" St . to South Ave; South llth Street , from South" L" to South
Ave. ; South 12th St, -from South "J" to South Ave; South 13th St .
from South "I:!" St . to South Avenue and Sputh "L" Street, from
South 9th to 20th Street, No one remonstrating, the Board being
fully advised in the matter, the Board takes final action on
said resolution, confirming without modification, all former
action taken the same. And the Board now orders that a list or
roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property, and of
valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to be injuri-
ously affected, which list or roll shall also describe the prop-
erty beneficially affected.
The Board met to hear remonstrances, if any of persons interested
or whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution No. 223-1928
for the opening and extension of West Avenue, • from National Road
to proposed Southwest "B" Street ; -Also, to open a street south of
the East Haven Avenue School, from East Haven Ave, to George Ave. ,
to be called Southwest "B" Street . No remonstrance having; been
filed against said opening and extension, the Board being fully
advised in the matter takes final action on said resolution, the
same being confirmed without ;modification. And the Board now
orders that a list or roll of all owners or holders of property
be prepared, and of valuable interests therein sought, to be
taken or to be injuriously affected, which list shall, also de-
scribe the property beneficially affected.
The Board receivd bids for furnishing 1, 000 ft . of 2c" fire hose
and 400 ft. of 4" Chemical hose coupled, as- follows :

" Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. Co. , bid;

Upon recommendation of Fire Chief, the Board awarded the con-
- tract for 1, 000 f t . of 2 " Paragon and 4" Chemical Hose to the '
Eureka Fire Hose Mfg. Co . ,

The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 224-1928,
providing for the widening of South "A" Street 10 feet in width
on the north side of said Street, from South 9th Street, east to
the alley running north & south between South 9th & 1Oth, Street.
The Police Commissioners requested that the "Turtle" in center
of the intersection of north 5th & "A" Streets, be removed, the
Board instruct the Sup 't . , of Light Plant to have same removed.
The Board then adjourned,
