Monday April 30th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday April 30th
1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. 411. the members of said Board,Messrs,
Reid, McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The Board received the following resignation, to-wit :
To the Mayor and Board of Public] Works
Richmond, Indiana.
Gentlemen: I/
Because of my break down in health and nervous con-
dition I wish to herewith tender my resignation as Superinten-
dent. of Parks, effective at your earliest convenience.
Thanking you for past favors and consideration, I am
Respectfully,
J. Henry Fulle.
The above resignation was filed for the time being.
• The Board approved a primary assessment roll 6.f benefits and_
damages, in matter of widening South"A" Street on south side of
Street from North 6th Street east, as provided for under Declar-
atory Street,,,
No. 221-1928, and fix Thursday May 17th, 1928
for date of hearing of remonstrances etc, at 9 o 'clock A.M.
The Clerk was instructed to request Indiana Gas Utilities Co. ,
and Richmond City Water Works Corporation, to meet with 'Board
Thursday May 3rd, 1928, for conference in matter of services
•
' in East Haven Avenue. '
Claims in amount of $14, 783 .76 were allowed.
The Board sign contract with Indiana Bridge Co of Muncie, Ind. ,
for Steel floor covering and stairway for new Turbine at City
Light Plant, at price of $670.00.
The Board then adjourned,
