Thursday April 19th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met in
r e .11ar session at the office of said Board Thursday April 19th,
1928, at 9 o ' clock A. ld. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, iticFsil and Henley, being present . -The following nroceedinps
were had, to-wit : -
The ten day perio d havin€ ex'nired, since receiving bids under

Improvement Resolution No. 890-1 28, for improvement of South 9th
Street , by constructing new curb against present sidewalk and pav-
ing roadway between the edge of preesent pave 1e11t sea the new curb
with Rock Asphalt, Sheet Asphalt , Asphaltic Concrete or Bituminous
Macadam, from South " A" St-feet to the first alley north; No peti-
tion having been received for waving said roadway, that as designate:
by said Board. The Board therupon award the contract for sadd im-
prov, '?ent to W. L. Magaw, as per his bidreceived April 5, 9�'Ecei T c: 1 20.

paving said street with Rock Asphalt between the points named.
A petition for sanitary serer in alley between Ridge & Ratliff St.
from Stevens Street to north corporate limits was received and re-
ferred to City Civil Engineer.

The Board ordered traffic posts place at 1 6th, 20th & 22nd and East
Main Street .
- The Clerk Was directed to advertise , for bids for ' re-roofing the
dwelling house at Starr Park, also, naintin'-; same and painting the
Number 3 & 4 hose houses. -
The Clerk was directed to notify the Street Railway Company to
re-
pair ,lest 5th Street ; also East Main by them e ;p Street, where dug
in repairing their tracks .
The Clerk was directed to notify P . 0. 0 .& St . L.Ry. Co. , to repair
the banks at Sheridan Street Viaduct , to prevent soil from running
onto sidewales .
The Clerk reperted the various complaints received et council meet .
The Boar is in receipt of a Re solution adopted by the Public Servic
Com ission of Indiana , that no expense incurred by Eny utility for
establishing a valuation for any purpose, other than cost of an

any such additional expense shall be paid for from the net income
below the line of such utility.
