Monday April 9th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 9th,
1928, at 9 o ' clock A. M. All the members Of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFa-il and. Henley, being present .- The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The Board ratified agreement entered into between the Trustees of
the Richmond State Hospital, for and in behalf of the State of
Indiana, and the City of Richmond, Indiana, apnrOved by Ed.Jackson,
. Governor of said State and Arthur L. Gillion, Attorney-General of
State of Indiana, in matter of contract for :payment of proportion-
ate share of the " Clear Cree- Outfalli' and the" Clear Creek Trunk &
. Lateral Sewers and disposal plant , as 'provided by the Ac f,s of the
General Assembly ofthe State of Indiana, -�nroved Larch 9, 1927

The Board received communication from George J . Derbyshire, General
Sup 't , of C. & 0. Railroad, together with blue prints of bridge to
be constructed by said railroad company, crossing their tracks in
South 9th Street, same was referred to City Civil Engineer, for in-
vestigation and report .
. _Upon the recommendation of Chas. Lyons , Street Commissioner, the
Board select two Ford trucks with Anthony Dump bodies for use of

street e.ap t . , at price ice of L520.00 delivered old trucks not to be
turned in as part payment .
Upon recommendation of E.E.hiller, Chief of Fire Dept . , the Board
select one Ford truck with Express, body fo-r repair work o•f Fire
. . Dept . , at price of 670.00 less, 035.00 for old truck to be traded
in ncr 'Write delivered :; 635. '00. and contracts awarded to the W. E.
McWhin .ey Co. , for said trucks. -
The Board approved the contract and bond of Daniel G. Burkhardt,
contractor under Improvement Resolution No ' s, 051 & 54-1928 .
The Board approved the contract & bond of Pyle & Ridge;=ay contract-
ors under I'mnrovernent Resolution No. 852-1928
The Building Inspector, was instructed not to issue any building •
. permit for permanent buildings on Lots . numbered 212-213-240 and
241. in Earlham Heights Addition, until such time' as street is'
opened and widened. .

After a Conference with George Ferlin , the Board decide to have
tentative roll of benefits and damages prepared by. April 23, 1928.
