Monday April 2nd, 192g.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 2nd
1928, at 9 o 1 clock A. `II. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFai-1 and Henley being . oresent . The following proceedings
were had, to=wit
A petition signed by Walter Kuhlenbeck, for the improvement of
Gilbert Avenue, from West Min Street to National Road we.s received
and referred to Engineering Department'.
. A petition signed by Walter Fu_iglum, for improvement of National
Road by constructing cement sidewalk 1 wide and curb & gutter
• on south side of street, from East even Avenue to west line of
Eariha m Cemetery was received and referred to Engineering Depa;rt-
ment for investigation & report .
The City Civil Engineer, reported in the matter of drainage, con-
along North 1tD" Street , from 22nd to 20th Street , and suzgested
the City replace inlets with larger inlets at certain points, the
Street Commissioner was directed to replace inlets as suggested
by the ' en ;ineer in an effort to relieve exist in_; conditions.
Pursuant to advertisement, the Board received bids for two 1if ton
tracks with closed cabs, dump bodies fully equiped, also, one 1
or 112--- ton truck with closed cdo, express body fully equipped, also
trading in 3 old Ford trucks, as follows to-wit
