The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday March 22nd, 1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, McFall and Henley being present ; Mr. Reid being absent . Two memoers of said Board being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The Board received a remonstrance signed, by Mrs . Orie Gilmore et-al, remonstrating against the improvement of Maple Street from Ridge Street west . The Board met to received bids under Improvement Reso, ution No. obi-8-1928, for the construction of the Clear Creek Out-fall sewer, pumping station and equipment as follows, to-wit : " John F. Hipskind, bid; Complete using double strength vi tried pipe - $60, 883 . 50 " concrete pipe 60, 512.8b " Boyd & Cook,' .ayton, Ohio, bid; Complete using either double strength V. or concrete $61, 9;68. 82 " J . L. Walker Co . , Hamilton, Ohio, bid; Complete using D. S .V.Pipe • '63, l72 . 25 " concrete pipe 62, 801. 55 The Board take bids under advisement for checking up and report of engineers. The Board received' 'rids under Improvement Resolution No. 649-1928. for the construction of Clear. Creek Lateral ,Sewer as follows, " John F. Hipskind, bid; Construction complete including house connections, $112, G54.4i-6 " J . L. Walker Co. , Hamilton, Ohio, bid; - . Construction complete including house connections, 1115, 259. 20 The Board take bids under advisement for checking u-, and report of engineers . Mr. McFail, reported the sale of the buildings in South 5th Street, between I'H" & III" Street , were sold at auction to the H. Holza-ofels, Sons, for the sum of $50.00. and the building at 614 North " A" Street, to be removed for widening said street • was not sold bids not being submitted up to the estimate. • The Board then adjourned, crest . of card, pro-tem.
