The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday February 20th 1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit : Permission was granted Fred. W. Emerson, to cut the curb at 440 College Avenue. The Board unanimously adopted Improveaent Resolution No. 853-1928. for the improvement of the alley between Southwest 4th & 5th Street by constructing cement roadway from Southwest "Cu to "D" Street . Pursuant to continuance to this date, the Board met to hear all per- sons interested or whose property is affected or assessed for bene- fits and damages awarded under Declaratory Resolution No. 217-1927, for right of way for Out-call sewer outside of city. No one re_mon- stra.ting the Board approved a final assessment roll as modified by awarding Daniel L. Peacock Damages in amount of '12. 00. over his assessment oferi•ef2ls and agree to purchase Lot No. 1, Burgess, Heirs, Addition, from C. C. Huddleson, for sum of $25.00, and there- upon the final assessment roll of benefits and damages was directed • forthwith 'transmitted to the Department of Finance as modified. The .Clerk was directed to prepare a bill for an ordinance ar7)ropri- ating the additional sum of el0, 000.00 out of the earnings of M.E.L. & P.P. to the account of installation of new condensor & turbine. • Upon complaint of Sarah Mitchell, the Street Commissioner was in- structed to open up the ditches at South 7th & "Q" Streets if found necessary so to do. The Clerk was directed to notify the various contractors, to look after and re-plant trees were necessary under contracts on various • streets, as specified in said contracts.
