Monday February 13th, 1928.

The Board of Public Works of the ,City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday February 13th,
1920, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs, tieid,
. McFail and Henley being present : The following proceedings were
had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons primarily
assessed and damages awarded in matter of condemnation of right of
way to construct and maintain sewer outside city limits, after hearir
all persons interested who appeared, the Board direct City Attorney
together. with J .L.Rupe Atty. for Cemetery Association, to draw up
• an agreement to safeguard said association in future maintenance of
said sewer, and the Board continued hearing on said resolution No.
217-1928, to February 20, 1928.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits & damages
in matter of condemnation- of right of way for sewer in territory
west of N.W. 10th Street and north of Peacock Road under Declaratory
Resolution No, 220-1928.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 851-1928,
for improvement of alley between North l8th & 19th ,Street, by con-
• structing cement roadway full width thereof, from North "C" to HE"
Street.
A petition for water main in Keller Street, was referred back to
property owners with request they take up the matter with the Water
Works Corporation.
A letter was received from Walker E. Land, together with letter to
Mr. Land, from sirs. Coffin, in regard to the death of Miss Baxter in
National Road by being struck by automobile, same were referred to
Police Department for investigation and report best method to pre-
vent • future accidents of this nature.
The Board received bids for moving the building of Tross Lamoerson
west 35 feet from its present location account of opening of Gilbert
Avenue north of Main Street as follows, to-wit :
" Garfield Dixon, bid: to move and set oh foundation 120. 00
"August -0berle , for moving building only 75.00
The bid of Garfield Dixon -being the lowest, contract was so
awarded.
