Monday February 6th, 1928.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
• regular session at the office of said Board Monday February 6th,
1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were
had, to-wit :
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement Reso-
lution No. 8 -7-1927, for sanitary sewer in the alley between Hunt &
Harris Street, from School Street north to corporation line of the
City.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 850-1928
for the improvement -of South. 9th Street on both sides thereof, by
constructing new cement curb against the present sidewalk and grading
& paving the roadway between the edge of the present street and the
new curb, with one of the following kinds of pavements, to-wit :
Rock Asphalt, Sheet Asphalt, Asphaltic .Concrete or Bituminous Macad-
am, from South " A" Street north to the 1st alley south of Main St.
A petition signed by 'Albert Bond et-al, praying for the improvement
of the alley between North 17th & l8th Street, by constructing a.
• cement roadway the full width thereof, from North " C" to "E" Street,
referred to City Engineering Department for investigation.
The Clerk was directed to notify. the Postal Telegraph-Cable Co. ,
Su/pit . , J. F. Looney, to change their line on north side of North"A"
Street, between North 5th & the alley west of• 7th Street, to provide
for the widening., of said street 5 feet on north side thereof.
Claims in amount of $18, 905.39 were allowed.
