ADDITION TO THE VILLAGE OF IONA, ESTABLISHING THE WIDTHS OF STREETS, BLOCKS
AND ALLEYS; APPROVING THE LOCATION OF PERMANENT MONUMENTS, AND PROVIDING THAT
THE VILLAGE CLERK SHALL HAVE SAID PLAT RECORDED WITH THE OFFICIAL PLATS IN THE
COUNTY OF BONNEVILLE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Village of Iona, as
follows:
WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described was platted and recorded as the
Plat of the Village of Iona, May 17, 1892, and as the Denning Addition,
January 11, 1904, and
WHEREAS, said plats were validated under and pursuant to the provisions
of Sec. 50-2513, Idaho Code, and
WHEREAS, the establishment of three (3) Government Corners are required
by Sec. 50-2504, and the presently recorded and validated plats contain ir-
regularities and omissions that make it impractical to use said plats in
their present form, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Chairman and the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Iona that the original plat should be further clarified, and that
the street and block corners should be reestablished and a more accurate plat
made to cause surveys in the future to be accomplished in a more definite and
orderly manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF IONA, AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 1. That the following described land, situated in Bonneville County,
Idaho, to -wit:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner, Section 1, Township 2 North, Range
38 E.B.M., and running thence North along the section line 2633.31 feet to the
East One Quarter Corner of said Section 1; thence S. 87° 20' 10" W. 2670.70
feet; thence S. 0° 16' W. 4188.62 feet; thence N. 85° 52' 20" E. 2694.30 feet;
thence North 1485.44 feet to the point of beginning, containing 255.284 acres,
shall be, and the same is platted, said plat to be designated and known as:
"OFFICIAL PLAT OF THE VILLAGE OF IONA AND DENNING ADDITION TO THE VILLAGE OF
IONA", said plat retaining all of the provisions of the original dedications
and validations as provided by Sec. 50-2505 and Sec. 50-2513, Idaho Code, and
providing for further certification as provided for under Sec. 50-2502, Idaho
Code, and further providing for using descriptions of lots or parcels of land,
according to lot and block designation, on said new plat, in conveyances or
for purposes of taxation, as provided for under Sec. 50-2501, Idaho Code.
Said plat including all of the presently platted land in the Village Limits of
the Village of Iona,
Sec. 2. That the location of monuments for street intersections and
block corners as placed, shall control street locations.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, due publication, and filing of a certified copy thereof
with the County Recorder of Bonneville County, Idaho, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND APPROVED BY THE CHAIRMAN OF SAID
BOARD OF TRUSTEES, THIS 14th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1963.

I, Del Roy C. Bodily, Village Clerk of the Village of Iona, Idaho, do
hereby certify: That the above and foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of an ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL PLAT OF THE VILLAGE OF IONA AND DENNING
ADDITION TO THE VILLAGE OF IONA, ESTABLISHING THE WIDTHS OF STREETS, BLOCKS
AND ALLEYS; APPROVING THE LOCATION OF PERMANENT MONUMENTS, AND PROVIDING THAT
THE VILLAGE CLERK SHALL HAVE SAID PLAT RECORDED WITH THE OFFICIAL PLATS IN THE
COUNTY OF BONNEVILLE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE passed by the Village Board and approved by the
Chairman of said Village Board on the 14th day of February, 1963.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of
said Village, this 14th day of February.

The Clerk was then instructed to call the roll on the passage of the
ordinance and the roll call on said passage of said ordinance resulted as

The Ordinance was thereupon declared by the Chairman of the Board to
have been duly passed.

Clerk be ordered to publish said ordinance in ull immediately, and in at
lease one issue of the Post Register, and the plat referred to recorded in the
Records of Plats in Bonneville County.
Thereupon, the Clerk was ordered to call the roll on said motion and
the roll call upon said motion was as follows:

The presiding officer thereupon declared that the motion was duly
carried.
