Thursday January 26 th, 1928.
The Board of Public:Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday January
26th, 1928, at 9 o 1 clack A. M. All the members of said Board, .
Messrs, Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following.
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear all persons interested, or whose property
is affected by the opening of Gilbert Avenue north of West
Main Street as provided under Declaratory Resolution No. 21J=
1927. After heating all oeisrons interest d. -who a pea.r":eeo no
one remonstrating, the Board being duly advised in the pibmis-
es, take final action on said resolution, confirming all form-
er action heretofore taken on same. And the Board now orders
• a list or roll prepared of all owners or holders of property,
and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to
be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe
the property beneficially affected.
The Clerk was directed to secure estimate on the cost of set-
ting back the building 35 feet west of its present location
affected by the opening of Gilbert Avenue.
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay to Harold
Thorp, contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 76 -192 ,
the sum of $140.37 amount retained on sidewalks in North 14th
Street, from North " p" to "J" Street .
The City Civil Engineer, was directed to prepare resolution
to improve South 9th Street , by widening the roadway by set-
_tin g back the curbs to cement sidewalk on each side of street
andpaving roadway, from 1st alley south of Main to C01ihiA
i
Street .
The Boars" unanimously approved a primary assessment roll under
Resolution No. 3 -1 2 ( , for erection, installation and siain-

4n city blocks described- (See resolution) .
The Board then adjourned,
