The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met i
regular session at the office of said Board Monday January 23rd,
1928, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Reid,
McFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had,
to-wit :

In. matter of light posts and light post system, installed in West lstr
Street, National Road to Main St; National Road 1st to 5th Street ;
South_ 9th Street , :-rest side from Main St . to 1st alley south; east side
from Main Street south to Hotel property; South 10th, llth, & 12th
Ste. from Main to South "A" St ; east side of South -i-th, Main to South
"A" St ; Main Street, from 12th to east corporate limits ; North 5th 6th
10th, llth & 12th Street, from Main to "A" St ; North "A" St . south side
5th to 12, except block from 8th to 9th St ; north side 5th to 12th
except where street not widened; North 8th from "A" to " E" St, includ-
ing property northwest corner Ft-Wayne Ave & North"E" St ; North "E"
Street, 8th to 9th Street . . 26, 928. 67 feet at .310 linear foot equals

against abutting property for light posts, and order assessment roll.

- TheBoard directed the clerk to notify Vern Stover, to vacate the Geo.
Muey premises, recently acquired by the City in the opening of South
5th Street, from "H" to " I" Street, by March 1st, 1928.
The Board directed the Clerk to notify the George H . Muey, estate to
. ' remove the frame building:: at South " I'I 8, 5th Street from South 5th •
Street recently opened by City.
The Board directed the Clerk to notify E.A.Ma.riani, contractor to
fill in excavations left in construction of sewer in alley between
Hunt & Harris Street, " especially where same crosses Brenner Street .
The Board ap-proved agreement by and between the- City 8_ Chas. E. Cox
in matter of widening of North "A" Street on north side of street
extending from North 5th Street east, the city agreeing to repave
street, sidewalk, curb & `_;utter and to pay to said Chas . E. Cox the
sum of 1:500.00, said C.E.Cox, to repair said property to conform to
street as widened after taking 5 feet off of his ground.
The Board accepted the dedicatidn of a strip of ground 5 feet in
width off of South side of Lot 23, Jeremiah Cox, Addition, running
from North 5th Street east a distance of 72 feet, made by Charles
E. Cox.
The Board then adjourned,
