Thursday December 22nd, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday December
22nd, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. A4.1 the members of said Board, Messrs,
Reid, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
Upon recommendation of Mr. Hess, the Board ordered arc light placed
at Northwest 6th & Pearl Streets.

A . letter was received from Geo. J . Derbyshire, Gen. Sup 't . , C. & 0. Ry.
Co. , informing the Board that January 12th, 1928, would be satis-
factory date for meeting with them on 9th Street bridge matter.
Pursuant to continuance to this date, the Board meet to hear all
persons interested or whose property . is affected outside of city
under Declaratory 'Resolution No. 217-1927, for condemnation of right
of way to construct & maintain sewer south of National Road and out-
side of city for outfall sewer. (See Resolution fro description)
After hearing all persons interested who, a.ppeared and carefully go-
ing over the premises with officers of Earlham Celietary Association.
The Board confirmed said resolution and now order a list or roll
prepared of all owners or holders of property injuriously affected
which list or roil shall also describe the property beneficially
affected. The Board enter into agreement. with Ivan E. Starr & Wife
for permission to construct & maintain said outfall sewer thru their
property adjacent to Abington Pike, city agreeing that said Sta:rrs
may tap into said sewer without any expense other than the rights
to construct & maintain said sewer, thru their grounds.
Claims in amount of , 18,%-;-01. 26 were allowed.
. The Board decides that as the next regular meeting. falls on Monday
December 2$th, 1927, which will probably be recognized as Christ-
mas day, no meeting will be held on this date.
The Board then adjourned,
