The Boarc. of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday December
1st, at 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, McFall and Henley being present ;
Mr. Reid, absent . Two members of said Board being present. The
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear remonstrances, of persons whose property is
primarily assessed as benefits, and damages awarded under Declara-
I/ ' tory Resolution No. 204-1927, for the opening of South 12th Street
66 feet wide, from South "H" to "J" Street. No one remonstrating
against their assessment of benefits or damages awarded. The Board
take final action on said resolution, confirming the assessment roll
as heretofore approved without modification. And now direct said roll
be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance. and declared
said South 12th Street, opened from South "H" to "J" Street.
The City Civil Engineer presented estimate of cost of widening of
South "A" Street, from South 9th to llth Street, by setting back
the curb and paving the additional part of roadway at $7980.15, ex-
cluding payment for purchase of property. -
The Street Commissioner was directed to purchase the surpluice casting.
such as inlets, etc. , made up as stock by Swayne, Robinson & Co. ,
at the price quoted by said company.
The Board approved the various payrolls to December 1st, 1927.
