Monday November 7th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond,- Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Monday November
7th, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of .said Board,
Messrs, Reid, McFall. and Henley being present. The following
proceedings were had, to-wit : 0
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 833-1927, for the improvement of South
22nd Street, by cement sidewalks, curb, gutter, planting trees
-both sides of street, parkways curbs, and paving the' roadway with
Rock-Asphalt, -from South "B" Street to Reeveston Road. The Board
accepted the same and approved a primary assessment- roll for the
said improvement.
The Board order additional light posts and add North 8th Street
and Fort Wayne Ave, north of railroad in the boulevard light
post system and direct the Sup '_t . , 'of Light Plant, to install
- additional light posts & lights, one at Intersection of North
8th Street & -Fort Wayne Ave, and one at No. 2 Engine House; also
one 031 east side of said Fort Wayne Ave. making three additional
light posts to be added to said system. •
The Clerk was directed to write .and request County Surveyor,Gault
to prepare a meeting either next Thursday or Monday, - with the
Wayne County 'Commissioners, the Board of Public Works and him-
self, to confer in matter of. School Street improvement ..
Joseph Mulroney attendant at Crematory, was ' directed to prepare
a price to be charged to industries for burning the refuse from.
their plants at the Crematory, such as Poultry houses, etc. ,
The Board authorize the City Civil Engineer to attend the Ameri-
can Society for Municipal Improvements, convention to be held
November 14-th to lath, 1927, at Dallas, Texas, legitimate ex-
penses of $100.00 to be paid, by the City.

Claims in amount of $108,395.91 were allowed.

The Board then adjourned,
