City Of Richmond, Indiana,
Thursday October 27th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday October
27th, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. E. All the members of said Board,
Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
Permission was granted to Sarah French to cut the curb on South-
west "D" Street at S,E. corner Southwest 3rd & "D" Street.

The Board met to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons whose
property is primarily assessed on account of improve,r.ent of the
Peacock Road, by cement sidewa.lk, curb & ,gutter and concrete
roadway, from Northwest 5th to 9th Street, under Improvement
Resolution No. `35-1927. No one remonstrating, the Board approved
a. final assessment roll _confirming the original assessment roll
as heretofore ar-.croved, and now direct. the same be forthwith
transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and
• da:iages, under Declaratory Resolution No. 209-1927, for the
vacation of part of 1st alley south of West Main Street, from '
Southwest i1th Street west to east line of Lot No. S, E. G. Kemn-
ers, Addition.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and .
damages, under Declaratory Resolution- No. 208-1927, for open-
ing an alley 1st south of West?-. lain Street, from Southwest Lath
Street over & across Tract-207, Official Map, of City, to x_txa± h '
straighten the alley running to Southwest 5th Street.
Communication was received from Board of School Trustees, City
promising every effort to eliminate the washing of earth from
school property in South "J" Street, South 9th Street and South.
"B" Street from' South 22nd to 23rd Streets.
Co emnicati on was received from Councilmen J.M,Woltermann, call-
' ing attention to bad condition of South "H" Street , from South
5th to 9th Street , the Board decide to investigate said street .
