Monday October 10th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said. Board Monday
October 10th, 1927, at 9 o 9 clock A. M. All the members of said •
Board, Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The fol- '
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
Minutes of preceeding meeting approved without reading.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose
property is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution
No.-26-l927, for the improvement of Southwest 1st Street, by
resurfacing roadway with Rock Asphalt from Main Street to the
National Road. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board ap-
Proved a final assessment roll confirming the original roll
heretofore adopted, and now direct the same be forthwith trans-
nitteco to the Department of Finance.

12th & 13th Street, by constructing cement roadway, from South
"B"to " C" Street. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board
approved a final assessment roll confirming the original roll
heretofore adopted, and now direct the same be forthwith trans-
mitted to the Department of Finance.
The City Engineer reported the completion of ccntrsct under
Improvement Resolution No. 835-1927. for the improvement of
from 8t, Street . The Road, Northwest o��1 to 9th ��ree � . Board ac-
cept the e same and order assessment roll prepared.
The Board received coimunication from F. S . Anderson protesting
that he had paid 460.00 for trees in Reeveston Addition, as
assessed by the City, and had no trees to show for same . .The
Clerk was directed to notify the different contractors to re-
place trees in various places, according to their contracts .
The Street C0mTissioner was directed to order 2 car loads of
stone dust & place same on East Haven Ave, the dust to be paid
for by the Indiana Gas Utilities Co. , and the Richmond Water
Works Corporation as per verbal and written ag reement .

The Clerk was directed to request Messrs, Thos Swaner of Tel Co. ,
and Geo. F. Gault, CountySarveyor to . ee ,o with them Thursday
October 13th, 1927, 9 A.M.
Claims in amount of P851 .18 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
