The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday September
26th, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the -members of said Board,
Messrs, Reid, McFail and Henley being present . The following pro-
ceedings were had, to-wit :
Minutes of the proceeding -meeting of Board approved without read-
ing.
The Board approved the contract & bond of W. -L. Magaw contract-
or under Improvement Resolution No. 5 -5-1927.
The, Board authorize Street Commissioner to order 70. brls . of Tervia
X. & 10 brls . of crack filler, for patching streets .
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the contracts
under the improvement resolutions named as follows, to-wit :
Improvement Resolution No . 810-1926, for improvement of South"J"
, Street, from South 9th to 13th Street; •
Improvement Resolution No: 812-1926, for improvement of South" I"
street, from South 9th to 17,th Street ;
Improvement Resolution No. . 519-1927, for improvement of Southwest
10th Street, from Main to National Road.
Improvement Resolution No. 836-1927, for improvement of east side
of Northwest 5th Street, by sidewalk, c .& ;. and tervia roadway
from Richmond Ave. to Chestnut Street . The Board accented all the
above improvements and order assessment rolls prepared.
The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 5 0-1927
for improvement of alley between Boyer & Croashall Street, by ce- .
ment roadway, from Grant to School Street, as follows viz :
" Pyle & Ridgeway, bid;

Cement roadway complete - -----V. 27r,r per so-foot .
" Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid;
Cement roadway per sc-foot
The bid of Pyle -& Ridgeway being the lowest and within the es-
timete of city civil engineer, the contract was so awarded.
The Boar; received bids under Improvement Resolution iNTo.846-1927
for the improvement of the alley 1st north of Linden Avenue, by
constructing cement roadway, from Ridge Street west to 1st alley
west of Hunt Street as follows, to-wit :
" Daniel G. Burkhardt, bid;
Cement roadway complete - }0. ?4=m per square foot
" � Ridgeway,Pyle & Rim way, bid;
Cement roadway complete----_- ----ti70. 25 cr per square foot
The bid of Daniel G. Burkhardt being the lowest bid received
and being within the - estimate of city civil engineer, the contract
was so awarded.
Claims in _mount of 977 50 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
