Monday September 12, 1927.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday September
12th, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Reid & McFail being presentMr. Henley, absent . Two members of said Board being present, the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board approved contract made by and between M.-E. L.&. P.P. dnd
the Richmond Oil Company, for gasoline and kerosene used by the
City for year ending September 8, 1928.
The Board granted permission to W.H.Miuff to cut the curb S.E.
corner of South 18th & "B" Streets; also, to Ora Stegall, to out
curb at 222. North 10th Street .
The Board ordered water mains laid in South "E" Street,` from l8th
to 19th Street; also in South 14th Street, from "G" to "H" Street .
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 8 -7-1927
for construction of Sanitary Sewer in the alley between Hunt &
Harris Street, from School Street to north corporation limits.
The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improvement Iteso-
lut i.on No. 825-192 7, for the improvement of Easthaven Ave, by
cement sidewalks, from Peacock to National Road.
The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improvement Reso-
lution No. 830-1927, f-or improvement of Ridge Street, by cement
curb,- gutter & re-inforced concrete roadway, from Charles Street
to School Street.
A petition for light in alley was received,- referred to Mr.Hess
to furnish to the petitioners an estimate of the cost of instal-
ling the same by them and maintenance thereof, as it is without
the business district, and city does not light alleys outside
of said business district.
. Mr. Bate Sup 't . , of Schools- appeared before the Board stating that
the School City would satnd their share of paving street inter-
section at Northwest 8th & Peacock Road.

The Clerk was directed to notify Gee. Kircher, to stop the practice
of spilling garbage- along the roadways.
The Clerk was directed to notify G.J .Berb rshire,gcn, sup lt ..0.8, 0.
that they will meet with him Oct . 3rd or 6th, 1927.
The Board then adjourned,
