City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday August 15th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday August 15th
1927, at 9 o ' clock A.M. Messrs, Land, McFall and Henley, present
All the members of said Board being present. The following pro-
ceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board accepted and approved the plan heretofore approved by
the City Plan Commission, for the erection of gasoline & oil
filling station- at corner of South 1st & Main Street south ofI/
east end of Main Street Bridge.
The Board approved the primary assessment roll of benefits and
damages under Declaratory Resolution No. 210-1927, providing for
the opening of South 5th Street from South "H" to " I" Street &
widening of said street, from South " I" to "L" Street. and fix
Thursday October 6th, 1927, 9 o 'clock A.M. as a date and time
for hearing of remonstrances against said benefits assessed and
damages awarded.
Petitions were- received for improvement of the alley 1st north
of Linden Avenue, by constructing cement roadway the full width
thereof, from Ridge Street to Huge Street and from Hunt Street
west to 1st alley west of Hunt Street , the Board ordered reso-
lution prepared- for said improvement .
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. cSS46-1927
for the improvement of the 1st alley north of Linden Avenue,by
constructing cement roadway the full width thereof, from Ridge
Street to the 1st alley west of Hunt Street.
Claims in amount of $4O116.88 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
